BANANA AUCTION CENTRE AT KALAKAD

To benefit of farmers, a banana auction-cum-value addition centre is in under construction at J.J Nagar village in Kalakad union of Tirunelveli district, around 70 % of work has been completed. Assembly Speaker Mr. Appavu laid a foundation stone for the facility estimated cost of Rs 6.25 crore.

Collector Mr. V. Vishnu, Joint Director of Agriculture (in-charge) Mr. Ashok Kumar, president of Kalakad Union, Indhira George Kosal and others were present at the function.
