SOURCE OF RAW MATERIALS (BANANA)

Raw materials are materials or substances used for primary production or manufacturing. We preferred to buy all raw materials direct from farmers who are under shareholders of Kalandai Farmers Producer Company.

The different varieties of banana were being cultivated on 5,500 acres around Kalakkad and the harvested banana were being auctioned in nearby kerala. Apart from traders from the southern districts, buyers from Kerala were buying banana from the farmers.
